At Bettys & Taylors, learning and development goes well beyond the traditional ‘core skills’ each person needs for their role.
Our training departments ensure that the people who join our business get high quality training in a range of skills from hospitality to operating machinery, from baking to Food Safety.
We also work with external training bodies and, where applicable, support our people through accredited external qualifications.
Opportunities encourage people to take more responsibility.
At the heart of how we work here is the belief that people want to continue to learn and develop themselves throughout their time at work. So we aim to provide the space for you to do just that. Whether it’s on the job training, off the job programmes, working with your peers to find new ideas or different ways to solve problems or being able to work with a 1-1 coach to help you progress in your career and take on a more responsible job.
