An opportunity has arisen for a confident and experienced Senior Administrator to support the Company Secretariat and Legal department on a permanent basis.
Based at Group Office, Parliament Street, Harrogate, your main responsibility will be to provide assistance to the Assistant Company Secretary (ACS) and Group Legal Counsel, through a business partnering approach and to support the management of the Company Secretarial function.
Specific duties will include collation of Board and sub-committee papers and information for the areas that fall under the remit of the Company Secretarial function; note taking and report writing as required. However, a significant part of the role will be to administer the Group’s insurance programme, and therefore a reasonable level of insurance experience, although not essential, would be advantageous.
In addition, you will also have responsibility for proactively managing diaries and arranging meetings, as well as responding to emails, post and calls, and providing day to day support, as well as many other ad-hoc tasks and project work.
This is a varied and exciting role and to be successful you will need to have experience at a senior administration level, preferably some experience of insurance programmes, and an excellent working knowledge of all
MS Office packages. You will be confident and enthusiastic with excellent communication skills, able to anticipate the support needs of others and manage multiple priorities calmly and with good judgement.
