Are you looking for a new challenge that gives you the chance to be creative and use your knowledge of project management to contribute to the strategic goals of our Group Property Services Team?

As a Property Project Manager, you will ensure the effective project management of allocated new build, refurbishment and property projects through design, development and implementation stages to the requisite time, cost and quality parameters in keeping with Bettys & Taylors Group (BTG) aspirations and standards. This is therefore a critical role in developing our brand and our environment.

Understanding the complexities of delivering property projects in office, manufacturing, retail and listed/historic buildings, with the ability to liaise, plan and communicate with multiple internal and external stakeholders at all levels is key. This is a varied role and you will need to work with the nuances of a family-owned business, where aesthetics are treasured and valued alongside commerciality. The role involves co-ordinating and managing all aspects of a project including day to day project, programme, budget and administration tasks.

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate:

  • Advanced project management skills
  • Experience of managing property projects in similar environments to BTG
  • Experience of preparing building work specifications, tender documents and packages, delivering projects on time, within budget, of a high standard, and empathetic to a brand
  • Great communication skills and ability to communicate well at all levels and build professional, effective relationships quickly. Ideally experience of presenting at Board level
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills and ability to co-ordinate and motivate others
  • Strong IT skills (Word, Excel, MS Project and AutoCAD)

Candidates should also hold a full, clean driving licence as the ability to travel between all of our properties is essential. Qualifications such as MRICS and Prince are desirable.

In return we offer a competitive salary, automatic enrolment in our group profit-share bonus scheme, staff discounts and free meals and drinks whilst at work. We are happy to discuss flexible working between the hours of 07:00 – 19:00.
